Interior Showroom
The Sustainable Interiors Showroom (SIS) was founded in 2005 by Dan Cline, director, with much assistance and expertise from Colin Higginbottom, Sustainable Interiors Vice-President. The showroom is intended to assist government officers in the procurement process at Fort Lewis. The goal is zero-net waste by 2025, and the SIS primarily showcases sustainable alternatives in furniture and flooring.
The Sustainable Interiors Showroom is part of a larger, national agenda toward sustainability and reduction of waste on government installations and has expanded to include locations at Fort Jackson, Fort Benning, and San Diego Naval Base.
