Entry and Walk-Off Mats
Entry mats serve well as a durable flooring solution for areas of heavy traffic. They are usually dense, heavy broadloom carpets, but can also be made from vinyl or rubber. All exhibit superior water wiping and retention properties and are more resistant to wear and soil than conventional carpets. Entry mats offer ease of maintenance and are generally: highly resistant to mold, mildew, chemicals, and surface abrasion; UV stable for fade resistance; naturally anti-static; and have applications for indoors or outdoors.
The use of entry mats contributes to a longer life cycle for your other flooring finishes. They should be strategically placed in areas adjacent to harsh environments allowing them to trap most of the soiling from foot and wheel traffic and keep it from reaching your facility's interior spaces. Many of our entry mats are also sustainable and can coordinate with your other finishes. We offer entry mats in larger and custom sizes and we can even incorporate your logo.
As their name implies, this product is best utilized at facility entry points. Consider using walk-off mats in commercial heavy traffic areas and those where conditions preclude the use of conventional carpet in which moisture and dampness are prevalent. Applications include:
